A Really Superior CoelacanthMar 17, 2012
By Allan Janus The Wild Safari coelacanth is, in my opinion, the finest coelacanth on the market today. I carry mine with me wherever I go (it's quite portable), and it shows absolutely no sign of wear at all. Few purchases have given such solid satisfaction as the Wild Safari coelacanth, and I recommend it wholeheartedly - really, I don't know how I got along without it.

A Long Awaited EditionJan 22, 2012
By JediCole I am a life long fan and collector of all things prehistoric. Dinosaurs were my first love and that has never changed. I still recall reading an article about the coelacanth's discovery as a still living animal thought extinct for millions of years. The unprecedented history and unique body plan of this amazing fish made it one of the animals of pre and current history that I always felt deserved to be represented in plastic. And at last is has been!
The detail and accuracy are perfect and the size is ideal for play or display.

Great reproduction of a rare 'Fossil Fish'Jan 12, 2012
By Erik C This is a replica coelacanth, 'Fossil Fish'. Its surprisingly well built as well as detailed for the price and the "Old Four Legs" is faithfully rendered in a concrete, graspable item.
I've always told people about this "smelly, oily" fish, but now i can fully share exactly why they are so special!
