This is a great first remote control toy. My son wanted a dino for his birthday and this was the favorite toy of the day (and many days since). The dinosaur spins in place until you push the button and then it goes in a straight line. My kids LOVE watching it go in a circle and making it go with the "bug" remote. This toy is fairly durable. My boys throw it sometimes and it still works great. The only thing I don't like is that it won't go on carpet - the wheels aren't that big, so they have to play with it in the kitchen.

This little guy is super cute. My son got him for Christmas and was tired of him by new years. He still pulls it out of the toy box every once in a while but not often.

I didn't realize that the dinosaur just spins in circles unless you press the button. The remote only has one button so when the dino and remote are both on, it just spins until you press the button. Then it goes straight until you let go of the button and it continues to spin. This was frustrating for my 4 year old.
Overall it's durable and chunky and perfect for little hands. The remote is easy and fun to press because it lights up. Even my 1 year old twins like to press the button, dino or no dino. Perfect for your younger child who is interested in dinosaurs but doesn't need a big complex R/C dino with 100 different controls.

What junk! 1st did work out of the box,then the 2nd did not work out of the box, another worthless made in China product!
